Crafted from luxurious Mikado fabric, this short wedding dress retains the grandeur of a full-length train while introducing a sharply structured corset inspired by Elizabethan-era corsetry and the iconic wasp-waist silhouette. The corset wraps around the arms, carves into the waist, and finishes in a downward point at the front, creating a dramatic sculptural form. The draping, once horizontal in the original design, now follows the new diagonal line of the corset, cascading from the bodice to the skirt’s central point.
