SIGNIFICANT

This architectural mermaid gown features a sculptural, scrapless sweetheart neckline — intentionally irregular, with one cup slightly higher than the other. The neckline can be customized: exaggerated further for bold impact or equalized for a more classic sweetheart shape.

Crafted from bonded crepe, the gown is internally corseted for structured support through the torso, extending to the upper hip to cinch and define the waist. The fabric is expertly draped: horizontally across the bust and waist, gradually transitioning into diagonal folds through the hip, and finally flowing into vertical folds that form the leg split. In this version, the split is dramatic for visual effect but can be adjusted or softened for a ceremony.

The silhouette hugs the body through the waist and knees before fanning out into a mermaid hem and train — which can also be redesigned to be longer for a more formal look. Finished with folded satin binding and top stitching, every seam reflects considered craftsmanship.

This gown pairs beautifully with a floor-length tulle veil for an elevated ceremony look. For a high-shine finish, consider a version in Japanese satin.
