At the core, the corset is engineered from thick coutil and reinforced with grosgrain, incorporating a full steel boning structure. A 5mm steel rod runs through the centre front, culminating in a razor-sharp V that plunges through the bust line and finishes in a narrow apex at the waist, exaggerating proportion and defining the silhouette.
From the waist, a sculptural velvet skirt is expertly draped and folded upward to meet a high leg split, balancing the grounded heaviness of the fabric with directional lightness. The gown is styled here with a sweeping black Mikado cape, voluminous in shape with oversized draped sleeves that fall dramatically off the arms, invoking old-world drama with a modern edge.
